Paneer Korma in Indian Style
This is one of our family’s favorite Cottage Cheese Curry recipes, I learnt this recipe from my grandmother. Paneer Korma Recipe is easy and quick to make. Serve hot with any kind of Indian bread like puri, roti, naan or rice preparation of your choice, to make a special occasion much more special.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. Cooking Oil
- 300 gms. Cubed Paneer/ Cottage Cheese
- 1 cup thinly Sliced onion( 1 inch long slices) or grated
- 3/4 cup canned Tomato Puree OR blanched , peeled, deseeded and chopped tomatoes
- 7-8 Black Cardamoms ( Peeled , Seeds to be crushed)
- 2 tbsp. Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1½ tsp. Chilli Powder
- ¼ tsp. turmeric
Preparation
Heat the oil in a deep pan, add the crushed cardamom seeds and onions and sauté on a medium flame for until golden brown.
Add the tomatoes and 2 tbsp water and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, cream and milk, cook on a medium flame for a few seconds, while stirring occasionally.
Add the paneer and salt, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Garnish with coriander while serving. Serve hot with a bread like Naan, Roti or puri or with rice preparation of your choice.
